Description –

Our Wright Flight group took a bus across the airport to the Air National Guard base at Barnes Airport. There we were given a presentation and taken to see one of the many F-15s they have. We were allowed to take pictures, ask questions, and walk around the jet itself. We were even permitted to sit in the pilot’s seat and have our picture taken. 

Reflection –

This field trip showed me the different paths in aviation, not only fighter pilots, but aircraft mechanics, flight engineers, etc. It was really cool to go up close and personal with such an incredible machine.
